Modern Staffing is seeking a qualified Maintenance Technician for a manufacturing company located in Seguin, TX:
JOB SUMMARY:
The primary responsibility of the Maintenance Technician position is to make necessary repairs on production machinery and to perform diagnostic troubleshooting on electrical systems, motors, hydraulics, pneumatics, PLC’s, and other mechanical equipment.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Manage and maintain a Safety and Preventive Maintenance Program.
- Service all industrial machinery equipment.
- Maintain and track multiple expenses and supplies.
- Performs diagnostic troubleshooting on electrical systems, motors, hydraulics, pneumatics, and other mechanical equipment.
- Make necessary repairs using various systems and tools.
- Follow blueprints, sketches and schematics for the installation of new and/or rebuilt equipment.
- Welding as needed.
- Communicate with employees, management and/or outside vendors.
- Completes required reports and other documentation on assigned work and/or inspections.
QUALIFICATIONS:
High School Diploma or GED. Minimum of 3 years mechanical maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment, and/or electrical experience maintaining industrial equipment.
- Familiarity with Punch Press Machines, Brake Press, Express Benders, and CNC Machines.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to perform mathematical calculations such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
- Good communication, organizational and problem-solving skills; English read, write, speak.
SHIFTS AVAILABLE:
- 1st shift 6:00 am – 4:00pm (Mon-Thurs) $22.00 - $25.00 (40 hours)
- 2nd shift 4:00pm – 2:00am (Mon-Thurs) $22.00 - $25.00 (40 hours)
- Weekend Shift – 6:00am – 6:00pm (FRI/SAT/SUN) (36 hours)
- Must be available on-call 24 hrs.
PAY RANGE:
$22-$25/hour (depending on experience)
