Looking to Weld your way into a position?
We're looking to hire someone as a TIG Welder/Fabricator!
Do you have the skills required?

Responsible for fitting and welding of steel and stainless steel parts using a MIG and/or TIG process. Also required to perform other miscellaneous tasks, as assigned by his or her supervisor including but not limited to:

REQUIRED SKILLS
• 2+ years of TIG Welding work experience
• Read and interpret welding blueprints
• Read and interpret weld symbols
• Utilize tape measure in metric and imperial
• Identify weld defects
• Utilize tape measure in metric and imperial
• Be proficient in using various hand tools
• Knowledge of numbers and dimensions
• Able to work in a team environment and able to also work independently
• Punctual, Responsible, Dependable, no absenteeism
• Physically able to stand for long periods, perform repetitive lifting up to 50 pounds, overhead reaching, bending, kneeling, crouching, pushing, pulling
• Possess effective communication and organizational skills; English read, write, speak

REQUIRED RESPONSIBILITIES
• Measure and align workpieces using straightedges, clamps, and calipers
• Fill ducts with water/air and submerge in water to identify pipe leakage
• Ensure compliance with established health/safety policies and regulations
• Carry out grinding and thermal cutting operations to obtain various textures and sizes for metal parts
• Oversee the set-up of TIG welding equipment
• Operate power and hand tools such as arc welders, buffing machine, and scrapers
• Maintain good working knowledge of the welding characteristics of metals such as stainless steel, aluminum, and titanium
• Read and interpret welding blueprints, schematics, and codes
• Carry out preventative maintenance and repair of piping systems and metal structures
• Ensure welding operations meet set specifications and construction requirements
• Perform TIG welding on materials such as fiberglass, iron, plastic, and copper

Wage:
• $16.00 - $19.00 Dependent on experience

Shift:
• Monday to Friday - 4pm-12am

Education:
• High school or equivalent
