Modern Staffing is seeking qualified Assembly Technicians for a manufacturing company in New Braunfels, TX. Please see below job description to see if you qualify.
Job Duties:
- Strong working knowledge of all Assembly lines.
- Detailed knowledge of bill of materials for each product
- Working knowledge of line sets on all Assembly lines.
- Sets up machines, assembly lines and support equipment; verifies accuracy of first pieces and makes necessary adjustments.
- Strong working knowledge of Quality checkpoints on finished goods on Assembly lines.
- Monitors assigned assembly lines to ensure the production of quality products within the target production rates.
- Must be able to perform all Assembly stations at or above standard rate.
- Must have working knowledge of high/low pressure Urethane equipment.
- Must be able to check calibration or urethane equipment and adjust when necessary
- Observe continuous operation of machines for proper feed of parts.
- Ability to recognize potential problems before issues arise
- Demonstrated trouble shooting skills
- Demonstrated diagnostic and problem-solving skills
- Responsible for communication and coordination of molding/assembly issues and concerns with other shifts daily
- Ensures quality standards are being maintained
- Assist in keeping work area neat, clean and organized
- Supports and maintains a safe workplace, including observing all safety rules
- Supports and Leads Continuous Improvement/Lean initiatives from time to time
- Other duties may be assigned
Minimum Qualifications:
- Good decision-making and problem-solving skills
- Must be able to lift up 30 lbs. frequently throughout a workday
- Must maintain neat appearance
- Must withstand exposure to heat and cold
- Must be flexible in working overtime, different shifts and weekends
SHIFTS
1st Shift - Monday through Friday 7am – 3pm
2nd Shift - Monday through Friday 3pm – 11pm
3rd Shift - Monday through Friday 11pm – 7am
WAGE
- $12.75 per hour – 1st Shift
- $13.35 per hour – 2nd Shift
- $13.75 per hour – 3rd Shift
