Modern Staffing is seeking a qualified Engineer with sales experience for a manufacturing company located in New Braunfels, TX:
JOB SUMMARY:
This position provides design efforts from receipt of the customer’s purchase order through production, installation and final commissioning; both in new product design and existing product redesign.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Modeling/2D/3D Drafting a must, no exceptions Fusion 360 Software is what we currently use. If you can use Solidworks you can learn Fusion.
- Estimating (Quickbooks a plus)
- New design/engineering
- Reverse engineering
- Customer service (work with customers on incoming machining and fabrication jobs)
- Outside sales (work with other engineers and customers on new design and modifications in their plant).
- Ergonomics in a manufacturing setting
- Understanding of controls (mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical, PLC, robotic, stepper etc.)
- Understanding of machining and fabrication
