Modern Staffing is seeking a qualified Short Haul Truck Driver in the New Braunfels, TX area. Please see below job description to see if you qualify:
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
- Must maintain a valid Commercial Driver’s License.
- Ability to drive a standard transmission.
- Must have basic math skills.
- Must have the ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions.
- Must be able to deal with problems involving several variables in standardized situations.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Maintains professional relationship with customers.
- Drives tractor/trailer to deliver product to customers in 100-mile radius.
- Back hauls cartons and supplies.
- Helps load and unload trailer.
- Maintains log book.
- Ensures vehicle is road worthy.
EDUCATION:
- Graduation from High School or General Education Development (GED)
SHIFTS:
Monday through Friday 7:30 am – 4pm
