Modern Staffing is recruiting for an experienced Deburring Metal Finisher for a fabrication company located in Seguin, TX:
JOB SUMMARY:
This job requires working with various sheet metal tools and deburring, grinding, and drilling the metal. May assist in other areas of the sheet metal fabrication shop as needed.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Grinding, Deburring, Assembly, Drilling, Bandsaw, and Blueprint reading.
- May assist with operating a PEM Machine (Punch-Emboss-Mechanical Fastening).
- Required to operate sit down, reach truck, and order picker forklifts.
- May assist in packing and loading of whole good product.
- Assist in put-a-way process from receiving area using RF Scanner Gun or desktop computer to ensure all material/components are delivered to proper facility stocking location.
REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience operating various metal working tools like grinders, drills, bandsaw and other machine shop equipment.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Ability to operate Order Picker, Reach Truck, and Sit Down Forklift.
- Basic math skills and computer data entry skills are helpful.
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Must be physically capable to lifting, pushing, or pulling 50 pounds alone.
- Able to wear appropriate personal protective equipment, including steel-toe shoes.
SHIFT:
10-Hour Shift
Monday - Thursday
5:30am - 4:00pm (Shift Hours May Change Slightly As Needed)
PAY RATE:
$18.50/HR
