Equipment Installer

Modern Staffing is recruiting for an Equipment Installer to work for a company contracted to build interior structural components in a large commercial distribution center in New Braunfels, TX:

Equipment Installers will be tasked with installing equipment and machinery. This includes robotics, conveyance systems, lifting equipment, and structural components. This will require precise and accurate measuring skills; the ability to work with other team members; and understanding of the hazards involved in lifting operations where a crane or other lifting apparatus is used to install the equipment and machinery.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

Technicians must be able to:

-Lift up to 50lbs unassisted.

-Follow written and/or verbal instructions.

-Communicate effectively with Team Members.

-Rigging experience and training certificates -- Understands common equipment used and ratings for weight and usage.

-Mechanical experience -- Understands tools, measuring devices, torques, layouts, machine assembly, prints, schematics, and specifications.

-Adhere to and understand basic PPE usage (Safety Glasses, Hard Hats, Safety Footwear, proper working attire, and fall protection).

-Technicians must have basic hand tools and measuring tools for mechanical construction work.

- Forklift Certified.

-Work the full schedule as needed - Monday-Friday 7:00AM-5:30PM and Saturday 7:00AM -12:00PM (55 hours).
