Electrician

Modern Staffing is recruiting for experienced Industrial Electricians to work at a large distribution center in New Braunfels, TX:

ELECTRICAL PROFICIENCIES:

· Physically capable of lifting up to 50lbs during normal work activities.

· Knowledge of conduit/cable tray installation to include support structures, enclosures, and common trade names for tools/materials used.

· Experience with and understands work practices for wire installation to include wire pulling, wire management, terminations, grounding, labeling, torquing, and testing.

· Solid experience with and understanding of fundamental safety practices for electrical installation activities.

· Very experienced operating basic construction equipment: aerial lifts, scissor lifts.

· Proficiency in reading, understanding, and communicating with blueprints, schematics, and specifications.

· Equipped with your own common hand tools used for electrical work.

· Strong in common math skills – calculating distance and amounts of materials, conversion of metric to standard measurements, and basic electrical calculations.

· Experience and working knowledge of appropriate PPE usage, including fall protection.

· Ability to work and communicate well with a team.

WORK SCHEDULE: DAYS - Monday-Friday, possibly Saturdays (40-55 hours)
