Modern Staffing is seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Specialist for a manufacturing company located in New Braunfels, TX:
JOB SUMMARY
The primary responsibility of this position is to provide quality assurance support and other related duties as required.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Assist in the implementation of the quality programs.
- Assure that the various quality programs conform to the requirements of the specified codes.
- Provide sufficient surveillance and inspection activities to assure that the requirements of the various quality programs are implemented.
- Determine the overall effectiveness of the quality programs and report the status to the director or management.
- Identifies quality problems, initiates action to resolve such problems and verifies implementation of the solutions.
- Interface with the Authorized Inspector, customer inspectors and audit personnel.
- Continual, measurable, improvements in quality and efficiency.
- Successful audit results.
QUALIFICATIONS
High School Diploma or General Education Development (GED).Must have prior QCI experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Prior supervisory experience is a plus.
- Excellent written and verbal communication and organizational skills
- Must have excellent administrative skills
- The ability to handle paperwork requirements, audits, address customer wants/wishes, etc.
- Advocate for electronic, paperless, automation (rare in quality).
