Modern Staffing is seeking a qualified experienced Quality Control Auditor for a manufacturing company located in Seguin, TX:
JOB SUMMARY
- Records the number and types of defects.
- Ensure quality of product and conformance to extremely close tolerances by auditing various quality tests using a variety of electronic machines and visual inspections.
- Supervises the operation to ensure all processes meet the desired output.
- Advises management on what to do to maintain high standards of products.
- Works with Machine Operators to track quality of products.
- Conduct independent quality testing research to improve testing efficiency.
- Coach production team on process improvements.
- Reports on relevant quality control bodies.
- Keeps record of inspections for future reference.
- Works within SOPs/Work instructions to know how the needed quality could be accomplished.
SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum 2 years experience in a Quality Product Auditing role in any organization or a similar QC/Testing role.
- Quality Control Certification.
- Excellent measuring and mathematical/statistical skills are required.
- Strong communicator of Quality Test Findings to the team and organization.
- Ability to go beyond detecting faults or recording product defects. Should be able to offer long-term solutions to quality-related problems.
- General Information Technology and computer skills are required.
